I look at the common good as a conceptual resource which, suitably modified and interpreted, is of value in establishing a satisfactory framework for cyber security.

 

 

My Role and Expertise

I am the Principal Investigator for this project and hence my role comprises both management of the project as well as my academic contribution to the project. My academic expertise lies in political theory and applied ethics and hence my contribution to the project primarily concerns the conceptual dimension of the idea of the common good. I shall examine what the common good is understood to be within different traditions of understanding and interpretation and critically examine the common good as a conceptual resource which, suitably modified and interpreted, can be of enduring value in establishing and maintaining a satisfactory framework for cyber security.
